Intake Manifold Removal - '88 TII
Reasons to remove the intake manifold may include gasket replacement, fuel injector work, water "O"-ring replacement in turbo models, or maybe to allow more access when working on parts of the turbo system. Here is a sequence of photos that show the removal of both the upper and lower intake manifolds on the TII. Refer to workshop manuals for the actual instructions for this job. The photo's are merely an aid, and may help during re-assembly.
